Thomas "Tom" G. Graverson Sr., 80, Bremen, passed away Jan. 22, 2012.
He was born May 6, 1931, in Bremen, to Theodore and Bernece McMannis Graverson.
Tom married Marilyn Muncie Dalgran in February 1978. She preceded him in death Aug. 9, 2009.
Tom honorably served his country in the United States Navy, serving on the USS Boxer.
He was a Master Mason and past Master of Bremen post 414, a member of the Scottish Rite and York Rite.
He was a member of the American Legion, past commander of the Bremen V.F.W., and was a member of Riverside United Methodist Church.
Tom retired from Universal Bearing, where he was one of the first employees.
He enjoyed farming and was a member of the Case collectors, owning several tractors that he rebuilt.
He was an avid participant of the Antique Tractor Pulling Association.
He was a loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather and will be missed.
He is survived by daughters Cynthia (Steve) McKenzie, Plymouth, Lisa (Mike) Harrington, Bremen, and Veronica (Gary) Pearce, Brazil, son Thomas G. Graverson Jr., Brazil, 12 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, brothers John Graverson, Bremen, and Ted Graverson, Brazil, and sister Maree Klopfenstein, Mishawaka.
Tom was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Marilyn, two sisters, one brother and great-granddaughter Norah Lynn McKenzie.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m., Thursday, Jan. 26, 2012, at Mishler Funeral Home, and will be officiated by Rev. Gale Law.
Burial will be at Bremen Cemetery with Military Honors.
Friends may call from 4-8 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 25, and one hour prior to the service Thursday, at the funeral home.
There will be a Masonic Service Wednesday, at 7:30 p.m.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Center for Hospice Care.
The Mishler Funeral Home in Bremen is assisting the family with arrangements.
