Bryan J. Coleman, 47, Brazil, died Jan. 21, 2012, at his residence.
He was born July 21, 1964, in Oceanside, Calif., the son of John B. Coleman and Mary L. Myers Coleman.
He graduated from Terre Haute North, class of 1982.
He also graduated from Purdue University.
He served in the United States Army in the Special Forces in Panama for three years and was honorably discharged.
He worked for Duke Energy for more than 20 years and retired from Duke.
On July 2, 1992, he married Jill McCullough Coleman, and she survives. He enjoyed spending time with family and he loved to fish.
Survivors include his parents, his wife Jill of Brazil, son Benjamin Coleman of Brazil, sisters Shelly West and husband Rick, Acton, Ind., and Amy Jo Marshall and husband Derek, Attica, Ind., nine nieces and nephews and other extended family.
At his request, cremation will take place with private family gathering at a later date.
