An ongoing investigation of a child molesting case resulted in the arrest of a Brazil man.
According to Brazil Police Chief Clint McQueen, Joshua McCown-Haviland, 32, Brazil, was arrested Tuesday afternoon on the charge of child molesting and was booked at the Clay County Justice Center (CCJC).
"The arrest was made in the afternoon hours yesterday (Tuesday), after a several day investigation," McQueen said.
McQueen said the arrest was the result of a multi-agency coordinated effort by detectives from the Clay County Sheriff's Department and Brazil Police Department.
McCown-Haviland is being held at the CCJC with a $25,000 bond.
