The following is a list of calls the Brazil City Fire Department have responded to from Jan. 26-Feb. 5:

* Thursday, Jan. 26 -- At 5:28 p.m., Brazil Fire Department responded to 22 S. Sherman St., for a kitchen fire,

* Tuesday, Jan. 31 -- At 5:42 p.m., Brazil Firefighters responded to Forest Park Elementary for an activated pull station alarm. Alarm was reset, no problem found,

* Friday, Feb. 3 -- At 9:09 a.m., The Brazil Fire Department responded to 314 N Ashley St., to assist the Ambulance Service with a patient,

* Friday, Feb. 3 -- At 10:57 a.m., The Brazil Fire Department responded to 1103 N Pell St. for a Carbon Monoxide check,

* Friday, Feb. 3 -- At 3:56 p.m., The Brazil Fire Department responded to 491 United States 40 East, for a Vehicle Accident,

* Friday, Feb. 3 -- At 6:52 p.m., The Brazil Firefighters were dispatched to the Forest Park Softball Diamond to begin search for a lost child. Department was disregarded shortly after dispatch. Child was located and was safe,

* Sunday, Feb. 5 -- At 2:09 a.m., The Brazil Fire Department responded along with Clay County Sheriff's Department, Brazil Police Department and the Ambulance Service to an Auto Accident with personal injury on US 40 between Sherman St and Chicago Ave. Fire Department was back in service at 3:12 a.m.,

* Sunday, Feb. 5 -- At 5:22 a.m., The Brazil Fire Department was dispatched to 9370 Kimberly Drive, for smoke in a residence. The cause was determined to be an overheated furnace blower motor. Fire Department was back in service at 6 a.m.,

* Sunday, Feb 5 -- At 6:36 p.m., Brazil Fire Department responded to the report of illegal burning on North Mary Patton Drive. Fire was located and was considered allowable within the perimeters of the city burning regulations.
