Thursday, in Washington, DC, Brazil's Britt Aero was honored with a supplier award from GE Aviation; Indiana's Congressman Larry Bucshon and Congressman Todd Young were also on hand for the ceremony.

As GE Aviation prepares to execute on a record number of orders, these awards recognized the importance of four of their suppliers, including Britt Aero, a precision machining and fabrication operation.

The awards were part of "American Competitiveness: What Works," a four-day forum (full agenda) from Feb. 13 -16 where GE and its partners, including other business, political and thought leaders, led in-depth conversations on "what's working" in America and what more we must do to grow manufacturing, foster innovation, compete globally and create jobs.
