'Jefferdy' Contest!

Jackson Township Elementary School (JTES) students (above, from left) Kamryn Kikta, Emily Boatman, Austin Beasley, and (below, from left) Emily Paul, Natalia Latham and Kelsey Ruff recently participated in the school's "Jefferdy Contest," and were the six highest scorers. JTES Principal Jeffery Fritz taught a unit entitled, "We the People," and students were introduced to the ideas associated with the founding of the country. The educational unit covered how the nation and political system were formed and other historical facts about the United States.
