Meridian Elementary School (MES) students from teacher Laura Maurer's (right) and Instructional Assistant Susie Howard's (left) kindergarten class were recognized for good behavior and attendance. MES periodically recognizes students who exhibit behaviors that coincide with the school's Positive Behavior Intervention and Support program. Each class has the opportunity to earn "spots" to decorate a laminated, paper giraffe outside their classroom, and the class with the most spots earns privileges of their choice.
