The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) announced Thursday lane restrictions on Interstate-70 will begin Monday, Feb. 27.
The restrictions will be in the eastbound lanes of United States 231 and just east of State Road 267.
The eastbound lane restrictions are expected to be completed by Sunday, March 4, weather permitting.
Lane restrictions will move into the westbound lanes Monday, March 5, and last for one week.
Milestone Contractors L.P. will restrict one lane of I-70 in the area they will be installing underdrains.
Milestone was awarded the $27.9 million patch and rehabilitation project from State Road 59 to just east of SR 267.
The patching portion of this project was completed in early December of last year and will finish up this year with the installation of the underdrains, permanent pavement markings and grass seeding to be completed by May 18.
INDOT issued a reminder for drivers to use caution and consider worker safety when driving through a construction zone.
