The Staunton Lady Volunteers will have a yard sale at the Staunton Community Center March 24.

Tables are $15 if you use one of our tables, or $10 if you bring your own. Sale hours will be 9 a.m.-2 p.m.

If you would like to reserve table space, call 448-3023. Space is limited, so call soon.

Breakfast and lunch food will be available for purchase at the sale.

Staunton First Christian Church

Sunday school begins at 9:30 a.m., with worship service following at 10:30.

Doug Parkey is the minister.

If you need transportation to morning worship service, please phone the church office at 446-3211.

The bus is wheelchair equipped.

Children's Church and Wee Worship meet at 10:30 a.m., in the Educational Building.

Sunday evening service begins at 6 p.m. Wednesday evening Bible Study and Prayer Group meet at 7.

Our spring study program is underway, with the first small groups meeting next week. Student study books area available in the church foyer.

A special "thank you" to Michael Pleake for interpreting a hymn in sign language last Sunday.

We welcome Toni Allsup to our fellowship. Toni placed her membership with our congregation Feb. 19.

Staunton United Methodist Church

Weekly Zumba sessions continue next Tuesday, March 6. Everyone is invited to attend, with donations going to benefit the church.

Sunday school is at 9:30 a.m., with church service following at 10:30. Our pastor is Scott Aselage.

Happy birthday to Jill Nussel March 3.

Remember the Community Food Pantry is open in the church basement from 3-5 p.m., on the last Wednesday afternoon of each month. The next food pantry day will be Wednesday, March 28.

Anyone in the Staunton area in need of help is welcome. We appreciate the support of all the churches, schools, civic organizations and individuals who help make this needed outreach a success.

Please keep praying for everyone who is battling illness as well as all the brave men and women of our military and their families.

Also remember in prayer all the folks in nursing homes and hospitals and those who have lost loved ones. Go out of your way to be kind to someone and pray for everyone.
