BP Illico at State Road 59 and Interstate-70 will collect money for the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) Friday and Saturday.
This is the third year for the organization to do so.
In 2010, the organization collected $4,064, and in 2011, it collected $4,281.
All monies collected in the community stays in the area to help the MDA with medical needs of children and patients.
The MDA offers families a camp where a child with Muscular Dystrophy can enjoy time being a "kid," away from the disease.
This year, BP Illico will conduct a yard sale to collect money. In addition, pulled pork sandwiches, chips and drinks will be available for $3.50.
Strawberry Shortcake will also be available at a cost of $5.
The event will take place from 10 a.m.-4 p.m., both Friday and Saturday.
