The Staunton Lady Volunteers will have a yard sale at the Staunton Community Center Saturday, March 24.

Tables are $15 if you use one of our tables, or $10 if you bring your own.

Sale hours will be 9 a.m.-2 p.m. If you would like to reserve table space, call 448-3023.

Space is limited, so call soon.

Breakfast and lunch food will be available for purchase at the sale.

Staunton First Christian Church

Sunday school begins at 9:30 a.m., with worship service following at 10:30. Doug Parkey is the minister.

Beginning this week, Doug's message will coincide with our Spring study series.

If you need transportation to morning worship service, please phone the church office at 446-3211.

The bus is wheelchair equipped.

Children's Church and Wee Worship meet at 10:30 a.m., in the Educational Building.

Sunday evening service begins at 6 p.m.

Our Spring study program is underway, with small group meetings each Wednesday evening at 7 p.m. Student study books are available in the church foyer.

The elders will meet at 6 p.m., Monday, March 12, followed by a meeting of the church board at 7.

The Christian Fellowship Club will meet for lunch at Pizza Hut in Brazil Wednesday, March 14, at 11:40 a.m.

Sunday evening service March 18 will feature a "song fest," as members of our congregation share their musical talents.

Thanks to Madeline Sinders for the special music last Sunday.

Staunton United Methodist Church

Weekly Zumba sessions continue next Tuesday, March 13. Everyone is invited to attend, with donations going to benefit the church.

Sunday school is at 9:30 a.m., with church service following at 10:30. Our pastor is Scott Aselage.

Happy birthday to Richard Nussel March 13.

Remember the Community Food Pantry is open in the church basement from 3-5 p.m., on the last Wednesday afternoon of each month. The next food pantry day will be Wednesday, March 28.

Anyone in the Staunton area in need of help is welcome.

We appreciate the support of all the churches, schools, civic organizations and individuals who help make this needed outreach a success.

Please keep praying for everyone who is battling illness, as well as all the brave men and women of our military and their families.

Also remember in prayer all the folks in nursing homes and hospitals and those who have lost loved ones. Go out of your way to be kind to someone and pray for everyone.
