Janet S. Paullus, 60, Brazil, passed away, unexpectedly, at St. Vincent Hospital, Monday, March 12, 2012, in Indianapolis. Janet was born July 22, 1951, in Brazil the daughter of W. Paul and Clara Edith (Swinson) Todd. Janet graduated from Staunton High School with the Class of 1969. After high school, Janet worked for Thompson Simon Ad Agency and then for First Federal Savings and Loan. Janet retired from Fifth Third Bank, in Brazil, as their Branch Manager in 1993 due to failing health.

After retirement, she began a web based sales business called Cosmo's Corner named after her beloved "Cockapoo" Cosmo where she sold John Deere toys and memorabilia.

She was a member of Staunton Methodist Church where she had served on the board and as the church treasurer.

In her free time, Janet enjoyed cooking, playing cards, gardening (especially hostas). She was preceded in death by her parents W. Paul and Clara Todd and a dear aunt, Mary Jane Rice. She is survived by her husband John Larry Paullus, sister Marian Harrison (Don), niece Amy Boor (David), nephew Todd Harrison (Mandy), great nieces and nephews Dylan Boor, Katie Boor, Hannah Harrison, and Hunter Harrison, friends Barbara Campbell and Connie Long, step-daughter Teresa Trout (Pastor Troy) and step-son Michael Paullus, as well as many friends and extended family members.

Services will be at French Funeral Home, Saturday, March 17, 2012 at 11 a.m. Burial will follow at Summit Lawn Cemetery.
