Bob was born in Brazil, Feb. 7, 1948, the son of Arthur C. Bolinger, and Ruby M. Courtney.
He graduated from Brazil High School with the class of 1967, and served his country in the Army National Guard for the next six years.
Most recently, Bob worked for Ivy Hill in Terre Haute as a shipping clerk.
Bob had also worked at Glean Gary Brick, Brazil, and IBM, Greencastle.
He enjoyed spending time with family, friends and his pets. Also, in the outdoors, he enjoyed his river cabin, hunting, fishing and traveling.
He was preceded in death by his father Arthur Bolinger.
He is survived by his mother Ruby M. (Courtney) Eberle, close friend Sharon Gladden, sons Barry Bolinger and wife Jennifer, Steve Bolinger and wife Nikki, and Shawn Bolinger, granddaughters Brooklyn Morgan and Summer Bolinger, step-grandson Tyler Meany, brother Danny Eberle (Susie) and sister Patty Mook (Hank), as well as several nieces, nephews and extended family.
A family and close friend's memorial service will take place at Harmony Community Center Saturday, March 17, 2012, at 2 p.m.
Cremation services have been entrusted to French Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the grandchildren's college fund.
