Bonnie Jean Williams, 92, Brazil, passed away Saturday, March 17, 2012.

Bonnie was predeceased by her beloved husband Warren Dee Williams in 2003 and her daughter Diane W. VanNess Gabriel.

She was born in Brazil, Ind., on Feb. 24, 1920, to the late Errett E. and Mary L. (Heskett) Shaw. Bonnie graduated from Brazil High School in 1938 and was the first female drum majorette in the state.

She was a deaconess and member of Northminster Presbyterian Church and a member of Northeast Associated Kappa Kappa Kappa Sorority. She worked in sales with the Mole Hole at Keystone at the Crossing for seven years and 15 years as a receptionist for Leppert Mortuary, Nora Chapel. Bonnie is survived by her daughter Rebecca W. Minniear (Randall) and her grandsons Daniel W. (Pam) Scott, Jason M. (Amy) Scott, Dr. William C. (Nikki) VanNess III, Benjamin J. (Jennifer) VanNess and Anthony D.(Heather) VanNess, as well as her sister, Dorothy Johnson.
