"This is something I've been interested in all my life," Reinoehl said, who's been in the position for the past four years. "I think I've had pretty good success working with law enforcement, and I'd like to carry that on for four more years."
Reinoehl is certified by the State Coroner Association, and he is a certified medical legal investigator.
He believes his experience, certification and character give reason for his re-election, calling himself "compassionate and caring."
"The satisfaction of the job is helping the family by determining what happened and the cause of death to help them have closure in the death of their loved one," Reinoehl said.
He explained he has good working relationships with those related to his field such as first responders.
"We trust each other and know that between us all, we'll get the job done," Reinoehl said.
Born and raised in Clay County, Reinoehl has been a licensed funeral director and embalmer for 23 years.
He is a graduate of the Vincennes University Funeral Program and has one daughter.
"I appreciate the support I received last time and would appreciate it again next time," he said.
