Roberta L. Ooley, 81, Brazil, died at 10:10 a.m., Thursday, March 22, 2012, at St. Vincent Clay Hospital, Brazil.
Born Sept. 27, 1930, in Brazil, Roberta was the daughter of Lyle and Elizabeth Thomas Reinoehl.
She graduated from Van Buren High School in 1948.
Both Roberta and her twin brother, Robert, received special recognition for having perfect attendance in school for 12 years.
Roberta was a lifelong member of McKinley Hill Church of Christ.
On Dec. 15, 1949, she married Bud Ooley, in Terre Haute. He preceded her in death.
A member of The Lena Club, she also enjoyed crossword puzzles and having dinner with her brothers and sisters.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son Mark Ooley, brothers Wilbur, who died in World War II, twin brother Robert, Les and Dave Reinoehl, and sisters Lois Willison and Olive Sumner.
She is survived by sons Gary Ooley, Indianapolis, Larry Ooley, Terre Haute, Mike (Debbie) Ooley, Greenwood, and Andy (Jenny) Ooley, Cloverdale, five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, brothers Phil and Dean Reinoehl, both of Brazil, sisters-in-law Jackie Thomas, Greencastle, and Joan Wells, Brazil, brother-in-law and sister-in-law Ruth and Jim Tibbits, Menton, Ind., and special daughter-in-law Marsha Horn, Florida.
Visitation will be 9-11 a.m., Tuesday, March 27, at Moore Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m., Tuesday, March 27, at the funeral home, with Steve Reinoehl officiating.
Burial will follow at Calcutta Cemetery, with Pastor Rick Thomas officiating.
