The Clay County Community Choir will present "Oh, What a Savior" cantata beginning this weekend.
The first performance will be Sunday, April 1, at 6 p.m., at the Peniel United Methodist Church, Brazil.
Other performances will be Monday, April 2, at 7 p.m., at the Poland Historical Chapel; Sunday, April 8, at 6 p.m., at the Corey Community Church of the Nazarene; Friday, April 13, at 7 p.m., at the Historical Chapel, Carbon; and Sunday, April 15, at 6 p.m., at Way of the Cross, Brazil.
The cantata includes familiar hymns, as well as some new songs.
"It's a very nice cantata," Director Lynne Nadolny said. "It has a lot of songs that make you think and then some that are just joyful, toe-tapping songs."
Soloists will include Sam Glover, Tim Grindle, Ruth Fischer and Nadolny. The organist is Charlene Hauser. The pianist is Carolyn Thomas, and the narrator is Steve Nadolny.
Everyone is welcome to attend.
