William Raymond Reynolds, 92, Brazil, died at 4:42 a.m., Thursday, March 29, 2012, at Exceptional Living Center, Brazil.

William was born April 9, 1919, near Coal City in Harrison Township, Clay County, Indiana.

He was the son of Charles and Sylvia Storm Reynolds.

He was married to Clara Margaret Anderson July 12, 1945, in Sedalia, Mo. She preceded him in death Oct. 23, 2007.

He served in the U.S. Army Air Corp. during World War II.

The couple moved to Brazil in 1955. William was a member of the Clay City Masonic Lodge F&AM 562. For many years, he worked for the City of Brazil Water Department as a mechanic.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, brother Walter Reynolds and special brother-in-law Herbert Daniel Anderson.

He is survived by son Thomas Leroy Reynolds and wife Beverly J., Brazil, nephew David Schmaltz, Brazil, nieces Nancy Culver and husband of Arizona, Sally McGill, Martinsville, Ind., and Jerilyn Archer, Knightsville, grandson Andrew Thomas Reynolds and wife Tanya Ruth, Brazil, granddaughter Rebecca Jane Fronek and husband Mark, Bozeman, Mont., 11 great-grandchildren, and many other extended family members.

Visitation will be 1-3 p.m., Sunday, April 1, at Moore Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be at 3 p.m., Sunday, with Pastor Ernie Rush officiating. Military services will be conducted by the U.S. Air Force.

At the request of the deceased, his body will be cremated and his ashes buried at Clearview Cemetery.
