Staunton First Christian Church

Sunday school begins at 9:30 a.m., with worship service following at 10:30.

Doug Parkey is the minister.

If you need transportation to morning worship service, please phone the church office at 446-3211.

The bus is wheelchair equipped.

Children's Church and Wee Worship meet at 10:30 a.m., in the Educational Building.

Sunday evening service begins at 6. Our Spring Study program continues, with small groups meeting each Wednesday at 7 p.m.

On Easter Sunday morning (April 8), Sunrise Service will begin at 7 a.m., followed by breakfast in the Fellowship Hall.

Thanks to Susan Treash for the special music last Sunday.

Best wishes to Jim and Doris Pell, as Doris begins sharing her musical talent with the congregation at Central Christian Church.

We want to thank Doris for the many ways her music has enriched our services over the past few years.

Staunton United Methodist Church

We will observe Maundy Thursday April 5, with a special service at 6 p.m.

April 8 is Easter Sunday and we will start this special day with morning devotions at 8:30, followed by breakfast in the church basement.

Sunday morning worship service will begin at the regular time of 10:30.

Weekly Zumba sessions continue next Tuesday, April 4.

Everyone is invited to attend, with donations going to benefit the church.

Sunday school is at 9:30 a.m., with church service following at 10:30.

Remember the Community Food Pantry is open in the church basement from 3-5 p.m., on the last Wednesday afternoon of each month.

The next food pantry day will be Wednesday, April 25.

Anyone in the Staunton area in need of help is welcome.

We appreciate the support of all the churches, schools, civic organizations and individuals who help make this needed outreach a success.

Please keep praying for everyone who is battling illness, as well as all the brave men and women of our military and their families.

Also remember in prayer all the folks in nursing homes and hospitals, and those who have lost loved ones.

Go out of your way to be kind to someone and pray for everyone.
