The 2012 Clay County Plat Books are still available at the Clay County Soil and Water Conservation District (CCSWCD) Office, 955 W. Craig Ave., Brazil, located across from the Brazil National Guard Armory.
The book contains plat maps, as well as historical photos and maps, interesting facts, a Clay County road map, city maps of Brazil, Knightsville, Center Point, Bowling Green and Clay City and information on the no-till grass drill.
In addition, it contains a cemetery location map, information on why watershed is important, a quick cover crop guide and a conservation directory.
Cost for the plat books is $20. The office will accept cash (exact amount) or check. Checks should be made payable to CCSWCD.
Office hours are 8 a.m.-4 p.m., Monday-Friday.
