Staunton First Christian Church

Easter Sunrise Service will begin at 7 a.m., followed by breakfast in Fellowship Hall.

There will be no Sunday School this week. Worship service is at 10:30. Doug Parkey is the minister.

If you need transportation to morning worship service, please phone the church office at 446-3211; the bus is wheel-chair equipped.

Children's Church and Wee Worship meet at 10:30 in the Educational Building.

There will be no Sunday evening service this week.

Our Spring study program continues Wednesday evening, with small groups meeting at 7 p.m.

The elders will meet at 6 p.m. on Monday April 9, followed by a meeting of the church board at 7 p.m.

The Christian Fellowship Club will meet for lunch at 11:30 at Pizza Hut in Brazil on Wednesday, April 11.

Our annual Ladies' Dinner is scheduled for May 6.

Thanks to Ray Ward for the special music last Sunday.

Staunton United Methodist Church

Easter Sunday morning begins with morning devotions at 8:30, followed by breakfast in the church basement. Sunday morning worship service will begin at the regular time of 10:30.

Weekly Zumba sessions continue next Tuesday April 10. Everyone is invited to attend, with donations going to benefit the church.

Sunday School is at 9:30 with Church Service following at 10:30. Our pastor is Scott Aselage.

Remember that the Community Food Pantry is open in the church's basement from 3-5 p.m. on the last Wednesday afternoon of each month.

The next Food Pantry day will be Wednesday, April 25.

Anyone in the Staunton area in need of help is welcome. We appreciate the support of all the churches, schools, civic organizations, and individuals who help make this needed outreach a success.

Please keep praying for everyone who is battling illness, as well as all the brave men and women of our military and their families.

Also remember in prayer all the folks in nursing homes and hospitals, and those who have lost loved ones.

Go out of your way to be kind to someone, and pray for everyone.
