Pauline Tucker Brown, 89, Brazil, died at 11:02 p.m., Tuesday, April 10, 2012, at Cloverleaf Healthcare in Knightsville.

She was born Nov. 28, 1922, in Brazil, the daughter of Samuel and Zeta Wilson Tucker.

She attended college in Danville, Ill. She was a member of Bee Ridge Church and the Order of the Eastern Star and Amaranth in Brazil.

She had worked for many years as a practical nurse at the VA Hospital in Danville, Ill.

She was preceded in death by her parents, three husbands William Giltz, Iden Goings and George Brown, three brothers Wilson, Arthur and Walter Tucker, two sisters Genevieve Mayle and Vivian Smith, and a son William Goings.

She is survived by two daughters Cheryl (Vernon) Tarrh, Terre Haute, and Marcy (Kenneth) Gaston, Florida, five grandchildren Jay (Shannon) Tarrh, Tammy (Todd) Emmert, Jeff (Stephanie) Tarrh, Greg Gaston, and Gretchen (Craig) Hille, nine great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 3-4 p.m., Saturday, April 14, at Moore Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 4 p.m., Saturday, April 14, at the funeral home with Pastor Lyle Monnett officiating.
