Donald Fred Price, 77, passed away peacefully at the V.A. Medical Center in Indianapolis, Thursday, April 12, 2012, after a long battle with Alzheimer's.
He was born Nov. 3, 1934, in Jasonville, Ind., to Ottie and Ethel Price.
Fred delivered milk for the Robert's Dairy, owned Brazil Floor Coverings and retired in 1994 from Grower's Co-Op.
He served his country during the Korean Conflict as a member of the United States Air Force.
Fred was preceded in death by his son Jeffrey Price, daughter Connie Price, brother Landon Price, and sisters Lenora Lutes and Gloria Jean Price.
Survivors include his wife Jo Ann Price, Brazil, sons Donnie Price, Tampa, Fla., Michael Price, Kentucky, and Joseph "Bucky" (Lisa) Price, Brazil, daughters Lenora Shumaker, Indianapolis, Cyndi Moore, Brazil, Tracy (Kenn) Skinner, Jeffersonville, Ind., Chrissy Lawson, Brazil, and Gina (Mark) Secor, Urbana, Ohio, sister Glendace Morris, Orlando, Fla., brother Joe (Sharon) Price, Crystal Lake, Ill., grandchildren Tyler (Brandi) Tutterow, Stephanie Tutterow, Austin Secor, Tori Secor, Nici Lawson, Macy Moore, Jacob Price, Joey Price, Jessica Demere, Nathan Thomas, Shawn Price, Jericho (Marwane) Elmori, Jordan Price, Amber (Scott) Jones, Jack Hancock, Tuesday Price, and Ashley White, and several great-grandchildren.
Services will take place at 10 a.m., Monday, at Moore Funeral Home, in Brazil, with burial Tuesday, at the Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Madison, Ind.
Visitation will take place from 4-8 p.m., Sunday, at the funeral home.
