The Clay County Republican Club will have its monthly meeting Monday, April 16, at the Clay County Senior Citizen's Center, 120 S. Franklin St., Brazil.

The time of the meeting has been changed to 7:30 p.m., to accommodate the Clay County Chamber of Commerce's Candidate Forum.

The guest speaker will be Bill Webster, who is running for Indiana House District 42 and is a lifelong resident of Parke County.

Bill and his wife Shanna have been married for 15 years and live near Rosedale.

He is a heavy equipment mechanic by trade and has served his community for more than 18 years as a volunteer fireman and former fire chief.

He was also honored in 2008 with Rosedale's "Man of the Year" award.

Webster has held leadership positions since 1997 in the volunteer fire service and private sector business. He is the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Rosedale Fire Department and is a commissioner appointee for the Parke County Plan Commission and Board of Zoning Appeals.

The public is invited to the meeting.
