A benefit for Clay County resident Tim Sullivan has been scheduled for 4-10 p.m., Saturday, April 21.
The event will take place at "The Big Pit," located at County Road 100 East, off State Road 46 in Ashboro.
Cost is $10 per person, which will cover food and drink.
Last year, Sullivan was diagnosed with a rare lymphoma and was told recently it was terminal.
He and his wife, Kim, have had to travel back and forth from Minnesota and are planning to travel to the MD Anderson Hospital, Houston, Texas, for more treatments.
All proceeds from the April 21 event will go to help with the cost for travel and treatments.
Entertainment will be provided by musical guests Funk 59, the Logan Lake Band, and Neisha Richey.
A raffle will also take place during the event, with gifts provided by Lia Sophia, 31, Shear Image, Samson and Delilah's, Sunrise Restaurant, Childress Trucking, Scentsy, Tastefully Simple, Aunt Z's, Harmony Diner, Mary Kay, Blessing's Unlimited, Brazil Coffee Company, Sunfactory Tanning, Zumba, Curves, and All American Auto.
