Tri County Community Club

The Tri County Community Club met at the home of Diana Nee with Roberta Nees as co-hostess.

A wonderful meal of barbecue chicken and all the trimmings was enjoyed by all.

The afternoon business meeting was opened by our President, Rhoda Tincher, with the entire club repeating the club creed and the pledge to the American Flag.

A surprise package was won by Diana Nees, and the door prize was won by Rhonda Tincher and Sandy Maines.

Devotions were read by Roberta Nees, putting things in proper perspective. Diana Nees read, "Most Richly Blessed," and Pat Kaster read, "The Circle."

Roll call was read by Pat Kaster, having 12 members saying their favorite desserts. At least once a month, one must have butterscotch pie at Gray's, or I get cranky.

Secretary's report was read by Linda Rushton. It was approved.

Treasurer's report was read by Evelyn Rubeck and approved.

Card report by Wilma Holsapple said she sent three cards for the month.

Hospital report by Linda Rushton was stated.

At our April meeting, we are having a white elephant sale. We will have a pitch-in luncheon.

On April 18, we will meet at the Oak Grove Church.

We all want to thank Linda Rushton and Donna Rubeck for all your help and dedication to our club, working at our equipment building, and making it look so nice and neat.

Sandy Maines celebrated her birthday March 6. Happy birthday, Sandy. Did you say you were 29 or 39?

The meeting was closed with all repeating the Lord's Prayer.

And now Bingo. Mary Lyons won coverall. Congrats.

Have a wonderful month. May the Lord bless each and everyone.
