She was born May 9, 1928 in Brazil, the daughter of Mur and Pauline Cratty Myers. She worked for several years as a secretary for an insurance company and then for the Athletic Department of Lawrence Central High School.
On March 14, 1987, she married Joseph Clarence Mogan. She attended Carbon Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters Eileen Hunt and Eleanor "Peg" Killion, and a brother Tom Myers who was killed in France during World War II.
She is survived by her husband of 25 years, Joe Mogan, son Jeff (Terry) Biggs, Noblesville, stepsons Mike (Phyllis) Mogan, Brazil, Greg (Debbie) Mogan, Brazil, grandchild Allison Biggs, Noblesville, step-grandchildren Derek Mogan, Jeri Jo (Cam) Casassa and Nikki Mogan all of Brazil, sister Ruth Cagle, Terre Haute, brother William Myers of Metropolis, Ill., and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be 4-7 p.m., Tuesday, April 24, at Moore Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m., Wednesday at the funeral home with Pastors Greg Putman and Rick Pressel officiating. Burial will follow at Clearview Cemetery.
