Family still in need of donations

Friday, May 4, 2012

Anyone wanting to donate clothing or anything for the Flake family, who lost their home April 27, to fire, may bring it to 315 E. Oak St., Brazil.

The residents of this home will contact the Flake family for arrangements to get the items to them.

Currently, in need are men's pants, size 36-by-36, women's pants, sizes 13 and 18, boys pants, size 8, shirts (two extra-large for both men and women) and large and extra-large shirts for a teenage female, as well as large or medium shirts for boys. In addition, undergarments are needed as well.

The family is also in need of furnishings, such as beds, mattresses and more.

All donations are greatly appreciated.

In addition, the family is asking anyone in the community with new or used lumber to call Brazil City Hall at 443-2221.

The family has plans to rebuild the home at the site, located at 503 W. Kruzan St., Brazil.

Brazil Mayor Brian Wyndham is organizing ways to deliver the lumber to the family.
