The show was judged by Shirley Biddle Freeman, Oxford, Ind.
The Most Popular award came via votes from those attending the event through the weekend. The show will continue until the end of May with all art work hanging, including those which are sold.
Door prizes were provided by Judy Ohmit, Linda Stalker and Connie Wasson. They will be drawn in June.
The following awards were given:
* Best of Show -- "Old Barn on the Road to Judson," water color by Bob Whitmore,
* Most Popular (and First-Place) -- "Grandpa's Laughter," a water color by Elaine Waltz,
* First-Place -- "Glade Creek Mill," wood scroll saw by Loren Myers; "Floyd the Dragon Fly," ink stippling by Tom Poynter; "Farm Pond in Winter," photo by Roger Randall; and "Rhododendron," color pencil by Ellen Shaffer,
* Third-Place -- "Mormons: II to Ut.," oil by Jim Colleran; "Hilgar Farm," oil by Jim Colleran; "The Pond," oil by Delores Collings; and "Tommy's Rock," oil by Connie Wasson.
The gallery is locate on the north side of the square in Rockville. Hours are daily, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. (except closed on Tuesday), and Sundays from 1-5 p.m.
