Tuesday, May 8, 2012

TERRE HAUTE -- Indiana State seniors Ronnie Fouch and Brock Lough have been invited to rookie minicamps by a pair of teams from the NFL on the heels of Justin Hilton signing a college free agent contract with the Cincinnati Bengals last week.

Lough will join Hilton at the Bengals rookie minicamp to be held May 11-13 at Paul Brown Stadium in Cincinnati. He was a First Team All-Missouri Valley Football Conference selection at fullback as a senior where he rushed for 309 yards with four touchdowns on 58 carries while also catching 10 passes for 49 yards and one score out of the backfield.

He served as the primary blocking back for Shakir Bell last season, leading the way for Bell's record-setting campaign. The Terre Haute native scored three touchdowns against Butler in ISU's home-opener on Sept. 10, carrying the ball 17 times for a career-high 131 yards. He also earned First Team All-MVFC honors as a junior in 2010.

Fouch will be in action with the Chicago Bears on May 11 through 13 at that organization's rookie minicamp. He threw for 2,064 passing yards and 18 touchdowns last season, averaging 187.6 yards per game through the air. Fouch spread the ball around in his senior campaign, throwing touchdown passes to six different receivers and averaging over 45 yards per game with three different targets. The senior signal caller threw a touchdown pass in every game, while passing for a season-high of 295 yards against Southern Illinois on Senior Day.

He was a Second Team All-MVFC selection in 2011 as well as an honorable mention All-MVFC pick and a member of the MVFC All-Newcomer squad in 2010. Fouch spent the 2007-2009 seasons at Washington prior to transferring to Indiana State.
