Brazil First United Methodist Church and Riddell National Bank are teaming together to take part in "Change the World 2012."
The event will take place Monday through Friday.
Both will conduct food drives throughout the week. All food collected will go to the Clay County Emergency Food Pantry.
Donations of food or money may be taken to any Riddell National Bank branch, including the branch on State Road 46 in Terre Haute, as well as First United Methodist Church through May 18.
The church will also accept donations Sunday, May 20.
Riddell National Bank Compliance Officer Ann Gibson told The Brazil Times the bank has conducted several food drives in the past, but this is the first one they have coordinated with an area church.
Gibson added while attending First United Methodist Church, she heard Pastor Steve Loft discuss "Change the World Weekend," slated for May 19-20.
"We have had successful (food drives) before, so I thought maybe we could do this again," Gibson said.
According to Loft, "Change the World 2012," is a coordinated effort through the United Methodist Church Denomination in the United States.
Gibson added anyone donating food at one of the Riddell National Bank branches will receive an American Flag front license plate.
