The Northview boy's golf team celebrated senior night on Thursday night with a tie-breaker victory against visiting Sullivan.
The teams tied with a four-person score of 158 and the Knights won on the fifth score as Konnor Cheek's 42 gave Northview a one-stroke victory over the Golden Arrows.
Senior Larry Knight was the low medalist in the match with a nine-hole score of 36. Seth Payton carded a 40 and both Jacqueb Taylor and Keegan Roembke shot 41. Also for the Knights, Drew Atkinson shot a 43, Dylan Nesty tallied a 44 with Stephen Watts and Dylan Sutherland at 45. Gabe Rogers, Austin Frankville and Nick McCollum shot 46 in the match.
Northview recognized Frankville, Taylor and Knight in their final home match of the season.
"I was happy for Larry to finish low medalist on senior night," coach Josh Trout said. "He played very well. Seth had a good round and Konnor stepped up and helped the varsity with that fifth score."
The Northview junior varsity was also a winner with a 179 to 187 victory.
The team competes at the Washington Invitational this afternoon at 1 p.m.
