"They've worked hard," LEAAP Center Director Mary Yelton said, "and we've had a lot of good parent volunteers.
"The goal is for these skills to help them be successful in school.
"That's the whole focus: School readiness."
Two graduation ceremonies took place Friday, one for the morning classes at the center and another for the afternoon classes.
Each student received a certificate (diploma) as well as a free children's book to encourage parental reading.
While on the stage, all of the students performed a handful of songs they had learned while in classes at the LEAAP Center for family in attendance.
The center provided punch and cookies for the children during the ceremony.
