The "Archer" is "William Tell Overture," by Rossini in a fine transcription, with soloists Shelley Criss and Julie Dugger, owned by the BCB for more than 100 years and will be conducted by Janelle R. Huber, who recently graduated from the Indiana State University School of Music with a Bachelor of Music Education degree.
Huber won the Presser Scholarship at ISU and plans on furthering her musical career with advanced degrees in orchestral and wind band conducting.
She is a winner of the ISU Concerto Competition on piccolo and was piccolo soloist in the ISU Wind Ensemble throughout her college years.
Huber was student director of the ISU Symphony and plays piccolo and third flute in the Terre Haute Symphony Orchestra. She is a long-time member of both the Brazil Concert Band and the Jackson Township Community Band.
The "Lady" is the famous musical "My Fair Lady," by Lerner and Loewe and an all-time favorite of both the BCB and its audience. Director Huber's special vocalist is Jodi Green Wingler of Greencastle.
Wingler has appeared extensively in professional and community theaters throughout Central Indiana, including the Indianapolis Opera, Footlite Musicals, Hendricks Civic Theater and Putnam County Playhouse.
A Greencastle graduate, she holds an undergraduate degree from DePauw University and a Masters in Library Science from Indiana University.
Wingler, who has a daughter in high school, has appeared in such favorites as "Oklahoma," "Guys and Dolls," "Kiss Me Kate," "The Music Man," "Oliver" and "South Pacific."
