Troy Allen Jeffrey II, 17, Brazil, was killed in a tragic automobile accident June 2, 2012, in Clay County.

He was born May 25, 1995, in Vigo County, the son of Troy Jeffrey and Christina Malone.

He was active in baseball at Terre Haute North Little League and then when he was in the third-grade, his family moved to Brazil.

He attended Eastside Elementary, North Clay Middle School and had just completed his junior year at Northview High School.

He played football with CYFL, North Clay Middle School, and his freshman year at Northview High School.

He was currently on the boys' tennis team.

He loved to go fishing and spend time with friends.

Troy was a fan of Notre Dame, the St. Louis Cardinals and the Steelers.

Troy was preceded in death by his grandparents William "Tom" Jeffrey and Shirley Jeffrey, great-grandma Alma "Weese" Bays and Aunt Lois Skaggs.

Survivors include father Troy Jeffrey (Vicki), Terre haute, mother Christy Malone and step-father Kirk Bedwell, Brazil, grandparents Becky Malone, Parker, Colo., Chuck and Debbie Malone, Terre Haute, and Ken and Becky Bedwell, Brazil, siblings Ashley Jeffrey (Danny Hamilton), Chelsea Jeffrey (Levi Snyder), Jesse Mathers, and Shayanne Mathers, nephew and nieces Kole and Kaydence Hamilton and Sophie Snyder, special uncle Jorde Malone, aunts and uncles Lisa Lane (Brent), Jenny Bruce (Jeremy), Molly Malone Price, Mandy Malone (Steven Hejari), Pam Martin, Tina Vanatti, Rose Cox (John), Metta Jeffrey, Sheila Coleman (Mike), Tom Jeffrey and Bob Jeffrey, several cousins and a large number of close friends.

Services will take place Saturday, at noon, at Lawson-Miller Chapel, 1702 E. National Ave., Brazil, with Pastor Fred Harrison officiating.

Burial will follow at Clearview Cemetery.

Visitation will be Friday, from 4-8 p.m., and again Saturday, prior to services.

Memorial donations may be made to the family.

Pallbearers will include Braden Parr, Brock Smith, Logan Keen, Nick Ferry, Nick Sears, Jesse Mathers, Jorde Malone and Dakota Davis.
