TERRE HAUTE -- The non-profit Maple Center for Integrative Health recently announced its first Maple Center 18-hole Golf Scramble will take place Friday, June 15, at the Rea Park Golf Course, Terre Haute.
Registration will be at 10:30 a.m., with lunch at 11. Tee-times will begin at noon.
Cost to compete is $400 for foursomes or $100 per player ($35 of which is tax deductible).
Cost includes lunch, beverages, golf cart, green fees, and a ticket to enter to win a week-long time share getaway.
There will be prizes for the first-, second- and third-place teams.
Tickets will also be on sale for a 50-50 drawing (half benefits the Maple Center and half is a random drawing).
Registration forms are due by June 1, 2012.
Registrations accepted the deadline will be based on space availability.
Golf teams will have the opportunity to win hole-in-one prizes.
The prize for Hole No. 17 will be $50,000 (half of the winnings will be awarded to the Maple Center).
In addition, the prize for Hole No. 13 is an automobile donated by the Sullivan Automotive Group.
The rain policy will include lunch and drawing for prizes. Paid participants will receive one round of golf (cart and greens) at Rea Park for future use.
