GREENCASTLE -- Susan Anthony and Duane Skoog, co-producers of the third Dixie Chopper 20th Century Radio Show, are soliciting the names of local veterans to include in this year's show.
The duo said they are looking for any veteran who served during World War II, Korea, Vietnam, Grenada, Panama, Desert Storm, or the current conflicts in Afghanistan and Iraq.
While seeking the names of local veterans to be included in the annual show, both producers said, "The veteran does not have had to serve in a combat role."
Rather, they are looking for the names of any local veteran, and of particular interest this year are the names of female military veterans.
While submitting the names of veterans to be considered, include their time of service, service location, rank, branch of the armed services, and a number the producers may contact. This will allow the producers to develop a more accurate profile of the local individual veteran.
