TERRE HAUTE -- Northview High School was represented well in Wayne Newton Post 346's 22-2 drubbing of Washington on Thursday evening.

Graduates TJ Decker and Kodie Girton combined with rising senior Connor Pierce for a combined 11 hits and four RBI's in the victory.

The win improved Post 346's season mark to 26-9 overall.

Decker provided a 4-for-5 night at the plate with a double and two RBI for Wayne Newton while Pierce also had four hits in the game. Girton drove in a pair of runs with a 3-for-5 game at the plate.

Tony Rosselli drilled a two-run home run to get the host squad off to a strong start and Wayne Newton piled on five runs in the second frame and an 11-spot in the fourth inning.

Damon Olds got the pitching victory while striking out 12 Washington batters over six innings of work.

Wayne Newton visits Princeton for a doubleheader today beginning at 1 p.m.
