Darrell L. Moore, 54, Cloverdale, went to be with the Lord July 17, 2012, at Danville Regional Rehabilitation. Darrell was born April 8, 1958, the son of the late Carl G. and Ruby (Plumlee) Moore. Darrell was a retired mechanic and also worked for F.B. Distribution center in Greencastle.

Throughout his life he had a love for animals, his favorite pets' names were Ginger and Sandy.

Mr. Moore was an avid pool player; he won one state tournament, and many other tournaments.

Mr. Moore loved life and loved yard sales; he was known for his bartering and loved getting that "good deal" on anything.

Darrell was devoted and volunteered much of his time to the former Ray's Mission in Cunot, Ind.

Darrell was preceded in death by his parents and brother David Bell.

Survivors include his wife Monica R. (David) Moore, Cloverdale, brother Donald Moore, Indianapolis, sisters Dianne Bell, Avon, Donna (Alan) Emberton, Avon, stepson Paul Campbell, Coatsville, Ind., stepdaughter Marcy (Jared) Wilson, Brazil, four grandchildren, and also several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will take place Saturday, July 21, at 1 p.m., at the Family Worship Center, 8157 North County Road 425, Brazil, Ind., (U.S. Highway 40 and Staunton Road), with Rev. Dick Shir officiating.

The family will receive friends from 11 a.m.-1 p.m., at the church.

Arrangements are under the direction of Simple Cremations and Burials.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be to the Kidney Foundation in Darrell's name.
