The annual National Night Out will be from 6-9 p.m., Tuesday, Aug. 7, at Forest Park across from the pool.
The event promotes safety awareness and friendly interaction with public safety personnel. Involved in the event will be local emergency service personnel including the Clay County Sheriff's Department, Brazil Police Department, Brazil Fire Department, TransCare and Clay County Search and Rescue.
Hot dogs, popcorn, cotton candy and drinks will all be available to participants at no cost.
The event will include K9 demonstrations, police and fire equipment and emergency service vehicles on display, as well as bouncy houses for children to play in.
The Forest Park pool will also be open from 6-9 p.m.
The entire event is free and open to the public.
