Monday, August 13, 2012

On Monday, early construction began on the Clay Community Skatepark, which will be located on the corner of Jackson and Wesleyan Church streets. Performing the construction was Forsyth Brothers Burial and Vaults, Terre Haute, owned by Jeff Bell. Also helping with the work was Bryan Allender Trucking and the City of Brazil, which supplied trucks and time hauling debris, as well as Wallace Brothers Disposal, which donated fill dirt. And, if I may, a very SPECIAL thank you to Roberta Weliever for her countless hours and dedication in getting this dream to reality. And to Chuck Weliever for, well, they know what I mean. Thanks, Chuck.
