VIGO-CLAY COUNTIES -- The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) announced Wednesday a patch and resurface project from United States 40 (old State Road 46) to State Road 59 will begin on or after Monday, Aug. 20.
The project on Interstate-70 is a patch and resurface project from U.S. 40 to SR 59. It was awarded to Wabash Valley Asphalt for $9.9 million.
It will have the interstate down to one lane in a five-mile work zone.
The project is scheduled for completion June 30, 2013.
