Tri County Community Club

The Tri County Community Club met at the Cagle Mill Picnic area Aug. 15.

A very special pitch-in was enjoyed by all.

Wilma gave the blessing. Our afternoon business meeting was opened by our president, Rhonda Tincher, with all repeating the club creed and the Pledge to the American Flag.

The surprise package was won by Shelly Blyth.

Devotions were read by Roberta Nees, titled, "Grandma."

Evelyn Tincher read, "The World is Mine," and Bonnie Hardwick read, "Saturday Nite Bath."

Kay Altemiller read "Skinny Dipping," Rhonda Tincher read "It Was So Hot," and Gerry Cundiff read "It's Hard to Find Friends Fast."

Roll call was answered by 12 members, stating how to keep cool.

There was one guest: Kay's sister Myrna Bradley.

Treasurer's report by Evelyn Rubeck was approved.

Card report by Diana Nees: Send four cards for the month.

Hospital report by Linda Rushton was discussed and approved.

Our next meeting will be at the Oak Grove Church, Sept. 19. There will be a five-item sale.

We are accepting used hospital equipment if you want to donate.

We appreciate everyone for their support and kindness to our efforts to furnish hospital equipment to all who need it. We do thank everyone for all their help.

You may call 765-795-4462.

We closed our meeting with all repeating the Lord's Prayer.

Now time for Bingo. What fun we had.

Take care and may the Lord bless you and keep you healthy and safe. See you all next month.

Rhonda Tincher won coverall.
