Aerial Arts Fireworks put on a display Sunday evening in honor of July 4. The fireworks were supposed to be shot off July 4 to signify the end of the annual Rotary Club of Brazil 4th of July Celebration. However, extreme heat and drought forced a cancellation. Officials elected to have the fireworks display coincide with the season finale of the Brazil Concert Band. [Order this photo]

They were also suppose to be shot off at 10pm not start at 9:30. Can anyone tell me who makes the decision to tell the paper 10pm and then the night of the show start them at 9:30. Wonder how many people were still on their way to see them but missed them cause of some nitwits decision... My kids thought I lied to them cause we just put them to bed hoping they would go to sleep before the booms begain... Thanks again Rotary... 100% unhappy for your choice of day for show this year.

Here is a quote from the other article. "The Brazil Concert Band will begin performing at 7:30 p.m. Alumbaugh said the fireworks could begin around 10 p.m."

It says COULD not will begin at 10PM.

We got there at about 9 and sat down with my daughter and my nephew. They had a good time and enjoyed them.

This just PROVES you cannot make everyone happy.
