"On (Sept. 8) anybody who wants to participate will meet here at Brazil City Hall (203 E. National Ave.) from 3-4 p.m.," Brazil Mayor Brian Wyndham said. "We'll do a registration for (motorcycle) riders, and we'll leave here at 4 p.m."
Wyndham said the cost of the event is $25 for an individual and $35 for a couple to ride.
"The entry fee includes a T-shirt, and there will be a hog roast dinner afterward with entertainment by (the band) 15th and Hulman," Wyndham said. "That will take place on N. Knightsville Road -- actually three houses north of Benwood Church."
He added the city is also accepting sponsorships for $20, which will appear on the back of the T-shirt.
According to Wyndham, the designated route will go from Brazil to Waveland, then over to Crawfordsville and follow United States Route 231 through Greencastle before ending on Knightsville Road at approximately 7 p.m.
Wyndham said the idea was to do something fun, while also helping the Humane Shelter.
"They have quite the undertaking down there, and they're always in need of funding," Wyndham said. "We were just trying to put together something to help them out."
