Two arrested in Clay County for multiple felonies

CLAY COUNTY -- A man wanted in Putnam County for petition to revoke probation on a previous charge of possession of methamphetamine was arrested Thursday evening in rural Clay County.

According to officials with the Clay County Sheriff's Department, deputies, along with assistance by the Brazil Police Department and United States Marshal Service, arrested Robert J. Price II, 33, Rosedale, and Amber Odom, 30, Brazil, at a rural residence in Clay County late Thursday.

Officials had been looking for Price for several weeks.

On Thursday, an anonymous tip led officials to the rural residence where the two were located.

Price was arrested on his outstanding warrants as well as possession of stolen property (a class D felony), possession of methamphetamine over three grams (a class C felony), conspiracy to deal methamphetamine over three grams (a class A felony) and maintaining a common nuisance (a class D felony).

Price is currently being held in the Clay County Justice Center on a $50,000 cash bond, with no 10 percent allowed.

Odom was arrested on preliminary charges of assisting a criminal (a class D felony) and maintaining a common nuisance (also a class D felony).

She is currently being held at the justice center on a $7,000 cash bond, with no 10 percent allowed.
