Kathy Bridgewater, President of the local Alpha Omega Chapter, Delta Theta Tau Sorority, Ind., recently announced the sorority will give $15,000 on the national level for Educational Grants for specialized training in Guidance and Counseling this year.
Grants are awarded to students at the graduate level, based upon their scholastic ability and financial need.

A stamped, self-addressed envelope must accompany all requests for application.
Applications are also available at www.deltathetatau.org.
Applications are reviewed by the Philanthropy Committee of the sorority in February each year. Applications for the Summer Session of 2013 or the Academic Year of 2013-14 must be postmarked no later than Dec. 10, 2012.
Delta Theta Tau Sorority has been associated with the project since 1959 and has given a total of $608,652.78 to 693 individual students throughout the United States.
Locally, Scott McDonald and Jonna Anacker are past recipients of the grants.
