This week, Northview earned 118 votes for fifth-place. Concord remained on top in the Class B poll with 141 votes, including six first-place nods.
Greenwood was second with 137 (two first-place votes), followed by Goshen (131 votes, two first-place nods) and Jasper in fourth with 122 votes.
The Clay City Imperial Regiment fell out of the rankings this week after earning one vote in the first poll.
Forest Park is the top band in the Class D poll with 143 votes, followed by Lewis Cass with 141 votes. Lewis Cass was ranked No. 1 last week.
Other ranked bands in Class D include Springs Valley in third (136 votes), followed by Paoli (120), Monrovia and Southridge (104 each), Mater Dei (77), South Spencer (73), Orleans (69) and Adams Central (58).
Homestead remained the top Class A band with 142 votes, while Western was still on top in Class C with 150 votes, including all 10 first-place votes.
Both the Marching Knights and Imperial Regiment will compete in the Avon Meijer Invitational Saturday.
Taking part in Class D action, Clay City will perform at 4 p.m., followed by Orleans at 4:13 p.m.
Awards for Class D and C will take place following a performance by Class A band Center Grove, scheduled for 5:44 p.m.
The Marching Knights will take the field for their performance at 7:37 p.m.
Other Class B bands competing include Pendleton Heights (6:58 p.m.), Greenfield-Central (7:11), Plainfield (7:24) and Jasper (7:50).
Awards for Class B will follow the Jasper performance.
Gates to the event will open at 3 p.m. Cost to attend is $6 for adults and $4 for students and seniors.
