Tutoring program offered to adults

Sunday, September 23, 2012

Adults who cannot read or would like to improve their reading are invited to visit private tutors through the Clay County Adult Literacy Program.

The program is free and is set up at the Brazil Public Library, 204 N. Walnut St., Brazil.

For more information regarding the program, call 446-1331.

A tutor will contact those calling.

The Clay County Adult Literacy Program -- a lifetime learning center -- is also currently observing International Literacy Month with activities, including coordinating efforts to solicit volunteer tutors and perspective students, tutor and student recognition and more.

Anyone who knows anyone in need of help with reading or anyone who would like to volunteer should contact 446-1331.
