Naomi "Ruth" Baulkey, 74, passed away Saturday, Sept. 29, 2012, at Parkview Regional Medical Center.
Born in Carbon, Ind., she earned her associates degree from Indiana State University.
She was a member of First Wayne Street United Methodist Church, YWCA, and Friends of the Library.
Ruth was the Park Center News Letter Editor.
She enjoyed reading, writing, poetry and her cat Henry.
She is survived by many nieces and nephews.
Ruth is preceded in death by parents Leo and Myrtle Chaney, adoptive parents Emanual and Ethel Lehman, husband William Baulkey, brothers Robert, Harold, John, James Chaney, Wilber Jackson, and sister Betty Love.
Service is 2 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 3, 2012, at D.O. McComb and Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Ave., with calling from noon, until time of service.
Burial in Lindenwood Cemetery, Fort Wayne, Ind.
